Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Worlex Academy ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Resell, sublicense, or redistribute our content without written permission.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our materials in bulk.
Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
Disrupt the Service or attempt to bypass rate limits or bot protection.
Use the Service to train competing AI/ML models.

4. Intellectual property

All course materials, text, audio, video, and design are owned by Worlex Academy or licensed to us. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to access them for your own learning. We retain all other rights.

5. Educational nature

The Service is provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee any specific level of language proficiency, exam result, or professional outcome. Your progress depends on your effort.

6. Payments and refunds

Free features are available without payment. Paid features (when introduced) are billed via a third-party processor (e.g., Stripe). Refund policy will be described at point of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time from settings or by emailing hello@worlex.academy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Worlex Academy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Worlex Academy is established. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
